Warrick Thomas appointed to Merton’s 2026 Design Review Panel

28.01.26

The London Borough of Merton has appointed Warrick Thomas to its newly refreshed Design Review Panel, part of a cohort of 46 built‑environment experts selected for the 2026-2028 term. The panel, renewed after receiving more than 240 applications, brings together architects, planners, landscape designers, and specialists across urban design to advise on major development proposals and help raise design quality across the borough.

Warrick said he was ‘honoured’ to be joining the panel for the borough where he lives.

Panel members will be appointed to individual reviews based on their expertise, contributing to Merton’s ambition to deliver well‑designed, sustainable, and community‑focused developments.

I am honoured to be part of the Design Review Panel for the borough I call home. Merton is a diverse and vibrant place, and I look forward to helping shape future development that protects its unique character and delivers high-quality places for its residents.
